Wellman Original is the core daily multivitamin and mineral supplement in the Wellman range, formulated for men of all ages and aimed particularly at those leading active and busy lives. It provides nutrients selected around men's general health needs in a single daily tablet.
How it works
A multivitamin does not add energy in the way food does; what it does is cover the micronutrients that the body's own energy producing reactions depend on. B vitamins contribute to normal energy release from food and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, zinc and selenium contribute to normal fertility and reproduction and to protecting cells from oxidative stress, and vitamin D supports normal muscle function and the maintenance of normal bones. The benefit comes from filling gaps rather than from stimulation.
How to use it
Take the tablets as directed on the pack, with or just after your main meal and with water or a cold drink. Do not chew them. Take them consistently, since a supplement works through steady daily intake. Do not take other multivitamins or vitamin A supplements alongside without checking first, as the amounts add up.
Who it is for
It is for adult men wanting general nutritional support. Men over 50 may prefer Wellman 50+, which is weighted differently. Those wanting omega oils alongside may prefer Wellman Plus, and Wellman Max adds calcium and vitamin D as a third component. It is a food supplement and does not replace a varied diet.
