FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

Is the fizzing or bubbling sensation normal?

Yes. The active ingredient releases oxygen as it softens the wax, so a mild bubbling or crackling sensation in the ear is expected and shows it is working. It should settle quickly. Stop if you get pain, swelling or discharge.

What if the wax has not cleared after a few days?

Very hard wax sometimes will not clear with drops alone, even once softened, and this can cause some temporary muffled hearing. If your ear is still blocked after the recommended few days of use, have it checked rather than continuing indefinitely. Our pharmacy team is available at info@rightangled.com.

What if I accidentally use more drops than needed?

There is no need to worry if a little extra runs out of the ear; simply wipe away the surplus with a tissue. Use the amount described in the directions rather than deliberately using more, as it will not clear the wax any faster.

Should I use cotton buds to clean the wax out afterwards?

No. Cotton buds tend to push wax further into the ear canal and can cause damage. The drops are designed to soften and help the wax clear on its own. If you need the ear cleared more thoroughly, have it done professionally.
