Nasacort Nasal Spray

Shake the Nasacort spray bottle gently before each use.
Clear your nasal passages by gently blowing your nose.
Tilt your head forward and insert the nozzle of the spray into one nostril, sealing the other nostril by pressing it closed with your finger.
While breathing in gently through your nostril, press down on the spray nozzle to release the medication. Breathe out through your mouth.
Repeat the process for the other nostril.
After use, wipe the nozzle with a clean tissue and replace the cap.
Nasacort is typically used once daily, or as directed by your healthcare provider. It may take several days to experience the full benefits.

The active ingredient in Nasacort Nasal Spray is Triamcinolone Acetonide, a corticosteroid. Each spray delivers a measured dose of this medication to your nasal passages. It works locally to reduce inflammation and allergic reactions in the nasal tissues.

Like all medications, Nasacort Nasal Spray can cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them. Common side effects may include:
Mild nasal irritation or dryness
Sneezing
Nosebleeds
Throat irritation
These side effects are usually mild and tend to decrease as your body adjusts to the medication. If you experience severe or persistent side effects, contact your healthcare provider.

Nasacort Nasal Spray is for nasal use only. Avoid getting it in your eyes or mouth. If accidental contact occurs, rinse with water.
Before using Nasacort, inform your healthcare provider of any medical conditions you have, especially if you have had recent nasal surgery or injury.
Inform your healthcare provider of all medications you are taking, as they may interact with Nasacort.
Do not use Nasacort if you have a known allergy to triamcinolone acetonide or any of the product's ingredients.
