Rightangled joins ABHI Innovation Hub at Dell Medical School

Rightangled, a London-based genetic testing company, announced its entry into the US market with its genetic testing service and online platform for specialists and consumers.

The platform

The company's platform combined testing of genetic markers with specialist review of the resulting data. Genetic information was considered alongside environmental factors such as age, weight, diet and lifestyle, with the aim of helping health and fitness professionals tailor treatment, diet and exercise recommendations.

The partnership

Rightangled joined the ABHI (Association of British HealthTech Industries) Innovation Hub, a partnership between the ABHI and Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin, opening an office there as part of a UK–US innovation sharing programme.

Abdullah Sabyah, CEO of Rightangled, said at the time:

"Genetic information is the language of life. Its insight gives doctors and fitness professionals a more precise and accurate outlook. Knowing this information helps take the guesswork out of prescribing treatments and constructing diet and fitness programmes. Our mission is to enable genetic analysis to become a regular activity inside medical practices and wellness centres."

He added that the company's first online order had come from the United States, which prompted the expansion.
